"Look Anna, we've got an invitation to DryGulchRanch!" Patrick waved a letter in front of Annas face. Again. Seems to be a bad habbit of him.
"There is this realy cute little halter event. At St. Patricks Day. I just have to be part of that.
Wouldnt that be just the perfect opportunity to show, how handsome Haze is getting?" 

Although a little bit sceptical - and a huge bit bugged by the letter-waving - Anna had to admit
"Yes, would be realy nice to show her off, she is getting whiter and whiter every season. Looks so wonderful, my big girl.
But Patrick, I will have to stay at home and care for November. Do you feel, you could handle her on your own?" 

"I can handle anything!" the stable-owner answered afronted. But he conceded only seconds later "It will be a liberty halter. So she can move freely around.
That is going well, after all the training you gave both of us. I am realy confident."

Anna nodded. "Alright. You both are going then. You should take the green halter. And we can replace the ring on the bit with a golden clover. That surely looks nice."
And just right then Patricks eyes lit up and he got... well, a tiny bit exited. Though he would never admit it. Getting exited over decorating a horse? Please!
"Ouuu yes, golden clover. And we could maybe braid clover into her mane. The little green leaves would look just awesome with her white hair. And..."
"Patrick, clover is..." Anna was ignored.
"And we could put some clover onto the noseband as well. You think we could glue them? Or would that damage the leaves too much?"
"Stop, we are not gonna..."
Patrick did not wait to hear her answer.
"Oooh my gosh. I will braid a wreath of clover for her! She will look like a little irish princess..."
"PATRICK FALKENBERG, STOP THIS INSTANCE! We are not putting clover on a horse!" 

The man blinked owlish and look puzzled at Anna. "Ummm... we dont? Why not?"
Groaning she explained "Clover can be toxic for horses. Only if it got infected by a certain fungus, though, but still."
"Could we not just take the bits, that are clean. Or artificial clover?" Patrick asked.
"Well, yes. Artificial clover wont hurt Haze. But..." "Well, thats settled then!"
"No, Patrick. Please think this through. This is not only about Haze, it is about acting responsible."
Her boss looked puzzled. Realy, for a math wizzkid he can be quite thick sometimes.
"Think about all the little girls, who will see our beautiful white mare with a wreath of clover. That is a little girls dream.
And next summer the girls will go to a meadow of clover and braid wrathes for their own horses. Not good."
"I could just tell them about it being artificial."
"And they will remember that? And what about all the photographs that will be taken? You will hang up at least one of them in the stables."
"A note beside the picture?"
"Ouuu yes. Great idea Mr. Advertise. I can see it. - Photograph taken at DryGulchRanch. No real clover were harmend during the shooting. We thank the association of artificial flowers for sponsoring the wreath -"

Despit being realy peeved, a small smile tugged at Patricks lips. "That sounds realy ridiculous. Any ideas, Anna? I realy would love a wreath."
"How do feel about apple blossoms and leaves. Green and white, too."
"Anna, more of these great ideas and I could realy realy like you one day!"
And so Haze got decorated in green and white as Patrick and her got of DryGulchRanch.

A few days later Anna got a call. "Patrick speaking. Your idea with the apple blossoms were great. 
Around here there is blossoming a bush - no clue what it is - and it has just the exact colors of Haze' wreath. She looks sooo pretty at the meadow. Will just send you a picture."
