Discipline: Halter

Als November gerade 5 Monate alt war lief er seine erste Fohlenschau - in Australien! 
Die Tage waren brütend heiß und Anna war froh, dass er mit Startnummer 1 lange vor den Mittagsstunden laufen würde. Sie zupfte nervös an ihrem Reitjacket herum. 
Viele Jahre ohne besonderes Training und der ein ein oder andere Cookie hatten ihre Spuren an den Hüften hinterlassen. Neben den jungen, durchtrainierten Reiterinnen kam sie sich auf einmal alt und unakttraktiv vor.
"Reiß dich zusammen Mädchen!" ermahnte sie sich selbst. "Darüber kannst du dir Gedanken machen, wenn du Haze über den Reitplatz gebracht hast." Sie strich sich die Haare aus der Stirn und war an der Reihe.
Haze war stur wie immer und lies sich eher widerwillig über den Platz führen. Anna musste all ihr Geschick einsetzen um sie auf der Bahn zu halten. Dafür war November Attittude der reinste Sonnenschein.
Fröhlich, neugierig und schwungvoll trabte er neben seiner Mutter her. Das Training hatte sich wirklich gelohnt. Er blieb steht an Haze Seite ohne sich dabei hinter ihr zu verstecken.

Bei diesem Auftritt zeigt er Allen, dass einmal ein selbstbewusster Hengst aus ihm werden würde. Anna war stolz.

When November was 5 month old he was invited to his very first halter show - in Australia!
After month of training and hard work he, Haze and Anna stood near the stables of Redwood. The day was hot already and Anna was glad to have starting number 1 - they would be out of the sun before noon.
Nervously she pulled at her jacket. For years she did not enter competitions and had an easy life caring for Haze at Falkenberg. That and too many cookies left some traces at her hips.
Beside the young, well trained horsewoman, she felt old and a unattractive. "Get a grip!" she told herself. "You will cross that bridge after you your stubborn mare around the pen." Anna swept away some strands of hair and entered the show area.
Haze was pigheaded like always and Anna almost had to pull her around the area. But November was a real sight to see! Cheerful, curious and energetic he trotted besides his mom. All the trainig paid off very well.

At this show he pointed out to everyone, what a prideful stallion he would be one day. Anna was proud.
